As The Kitchen Coach, I’ll help build your confidence and excitement about getting back in the kitchen to cook simple, delicious meals.
Hi, I’m Coriander
I offer Nutritional Therapy and Cooking Classes for Kids, Teens and Adults in Bath, Bristol and Beyond.
I’m a nutritional therapist and chef with a passion for showing families how food can transform our lives. My journey to this career began with a deep love of food and a childhood full of valuable lessons about the power of nutrition. My mum was ahead of her time, embracing whole foods and natural remedies long before they were popular. While some childhood food memories involving carob-coated raisins were not so joyous, generally both my parent’s approach taught me how food can be both enjoyable and nourishing! My mum passed down a strong understanding of nutrition, along with a fierce love of real, delicious food.
I didn’t always eat well, though. For years working in restaurants, I lived on whatever I could grab between shifts instead of well-prepared meals (ironically!).
Even so, I carried my mum’s values with me, always returning to the idea that food could do so much more than fill us up—it could make us feel good, too.
Over time, my career led me from adrenaline-fuelled restaurant kitchens to front-of-house roles, and eventually to Spain, where I met my husband — another chef. When I became pregnant, I found myself at a crossroads, wanting a career that combined my love of food with making a real impact on people’s lives. That’s when I decided to study nutritional therapy, and it changed everything for me.
Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to helping families rediscover the joy of cooking and the benefits of eating nourishing meals together.
From working in clinics to writing about food and nutrition, I’ve seen just how much the right approach can make a difference. Today, I bring all these experiences together to help families make lasting, meaningful changes in their kitchens and their lives.

My Approach
I’m a firm believer that food doesn’t need to be complicated to make a difference.
My approach combines everything I’ve learned about nutrition, cooking, and family life – including picky eating – to offer you practical, achievable steps towards making family meals simple, enjoyable, and more nutritious. I help parents and children feel confident in the kitchen, turning mealtimes from a source of stress into a time to connect and enjoy.
In my work, I keep things simple and straightforward. Whether I’m helping you organise your kitchen, teaching families or kids how to cook, or guiding you through a personalised nutrition plan, my goal is to empower you to make the most of your kitchen and mealtimes without feeling overwhelmed. I’m here to offer support, share honest advice, and create a space where you can learn, explore, and discover the power of food for your family’s future—one meal at a time.
